I met up with the Bertrams on a hot Fall day at the Maryland Corn Maze in Gambrills. On the eve of the first day of October, the weather had no business being so hot, but with pumpkins, hay rides, and one of Maryland's largest corn mazes as our backdrop, autumn was in the air. The fact that they are a happy, loving family is evident, and hanging out with them for the afternoon was quite pleasant.
