Tuve el absoluto honor de tomar la fotografía nupcial para mi gran amiga Desiree Reyes y su nuevo esposo Rony. We have been friends for two decades, since high school, and she has always had my back. It was such a pleasure to be both wedding photographer and honored guest! (I also make an appearance in a few photos, taken with the help of my husband/helper).
The beginning of September is such a beautiful choice for a wedding; the weather is still warm but you can already feel the autumn breeze beginning to come in. Desiree and Rony were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Brigid's Catholic church in Westbury, Long Island, NY. The reception--full of good food, beautiful desserts, plenty of booze, and lively dancing--was held in Rony's parents' backyard nearby to the church. It was truly a beautiful celebration.
